Biography:
Ms. Shannon started dancing in 1986, she continued taking classes until she graduated college.
Ms Shannon started performing and competing on dance teams when she entered middle school and continued in high school where she became Captain of the Elite Team at Conner High School. Shannon continued her dance experience by dancing for NKU Elite Norse Dance Team for 5 years.
While attending NKU Shannon graduated with a Bachelor of Liberal Studies with areas of concentration in English, History, Physical Education/Recreation Fitness, and Dance. Starting in 1999 Ms. Shannon coached local Northern Kentucky and Indiana middle and high schools dance teams. She started teaching for WEBBY Dance Company in 2011, and in 2013 Ms. Shannon became the Northern Kentucky Franchise owner.
Ms Shannon has also been coaching Gray MS dance team since 2016, and coaching the Ryle Raiderettes since 2020, 1st as an assistant and technique coach and then becoming the head coach in 2022.
